لكن أَنْمَاط (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) كَانَت غَيْرَ مَألُوُفة للغَايَة ؛ نَشَأَت بالتَأكِيد مِنْ الفَن الَقَدِيِم الذِيْ كَانَ مُخْتَلِفا تَمَاما عَن القَاعِدة.

“لَا هَذَا ولَا ذاك!” هز (لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) رَأْسه : “لَيْسَ عَلَيْك أَنْ تخمن أصْلِي . جئت فَقَطْ لأقول شيئاً وَاحِداً ، على الفَوْر أوقِف التنَقَيب عَن المنَجْمَ الَقَدِيِم!”

يَالَهُ مِنْ أمْرٍ غَرِيِب!

مَعَ هَذَا التَبَادُل للضَرْبَات ، كَانَت هَالَة [طَبَقَة إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر] مكشوفة بالكَامِلِ ، مِمَا يجعل الخَوْف والوقار يرتفعان فِيْ كُلْ قُلُوبهم . كَانَ هَذَا بسَبَب أَنْ مُقَاتِلي [طَبَقَةِ إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر] قَدْ تخلصوا بشَكْلٍ كَامِلِ مِنْ فَنَائِهِم وَ صعَدُوْا مِنْ العَالَم الفَانِي. وَ بِصَرْفِ النَظَر عَن هَؤُلَاء على مستوى الحُكَام فِيْ فُنُوُن الدِفَاعِ عَن النَفَسْ ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا النَوْع مِنْ الهَالَة مِنْ شَأنِهِ أَنْ يكَبْح الجَمِيْع.

كَانَ لهَذَا الرَجُل أصول غريبة ، وَ كَانَت أهَدَأَفه غريبة أيْضَاً.

“أوه ، هَل هـُــوَ حقا مُثِيِر للغَايَة؟” ضَحِكَ (لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) بِصَوْتٍ عال : “ثُمَ أرَيْدُ إِنَّ ألعب أكثَرَ!”

وَاحِدَةً تِلْوَ الأخَرَى ، ظَهَرَت جُدْرَان مِنْ الجَلِيِد ، وَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ تَمَ تَحْطِيِمها. إستَّمَرَّ المَرْأ فِيْ التَرَاجَع بِلَا هوادة ، فِيْ حِيِن كَانَ الأخَرُ يَسِيِر بِسُرْعَةٍ أَكْبَرَ . فِيْ نِهَاية المطاف ، أصْبَحَ فِي الجَانِب الخَاسِر , (هـُــو نـِـيـُـو) لَمْ تعطهَا أقَلَ فُرْصَة للقتال مَرَة أخَرُى.

لم يبدُ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) مُنْدَهِشا للغَايَة و سَأَلَ : “هَل أنْتَ أحَدُ التَلَامِيِذ المُتَمَيِزِيِنَ لطَائِفَة السَيْف السـَـمـَـاوِي أم طَائِفَة عنقَاءِ السَحَاب؟”

“هنغ!” غَضَب (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) أَخِيِراً ، وَ مَعَ البَرْدِ المُتَجَمِد ، ظَهَرَ المَشْهَد الغريب لمدٍّ يرتفع فِيْ المُحِيِط خَلْفَه . فَتَحَ فمه فَجْأة ، وَ بو ، بَصَقَ سهمَاً مِنْ الماء . عَندَ إلْقَاء نَظَرة فاحِصَّة ، كَانَت هُنَاْكَ أنْمَاطٌ قَدِيِمة مشَاْبهة منتشرة فِيْ كُلْ أنْحَاء هَذَا السهم مِنْ الماء .

مَعَ هَذَا التَبَادُل للضَرْبَات ، كَانَت هَالَة [طَبَقَة إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر] مكشوفة بالكَامِلِ ، مِمَا يجعل الخَوْف والوقار يرتفعان فِيْ كُلْ قُلُوبهم . كَانَ هَذَا بسَبَب أَنْ مُقَاتِلي [طَبَقَةِ إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر] قَدْ تخلصوا بشَكْلٍ كَامِلِ مِنْ فَنَائِهِم وَ صعَدُوْا مِنْ العَالَم الفَانِي. وَ بِصَرْفِ النَظَر عَن هَؤُلَاء على مستوى الحُكَام فِيْ فُنُوُن الدِفَاعِ عَن النَفَسْ ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا النَوْع مِنْ الهَالَة مِنْ شَأنِهِ أَنْ يكَبْح الجَمِيْع.

هذه المَرَة ، لَمْ يَكُنْ لَدَيْهم خِيَار سوى تَصَدِيِقَ الحَقائق أَمَامَهُم . سَوَاء كَانَ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) أو (لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) ، أو حتى الطِفْلة الصَغِيِرة اللتِي تبَلَغَ مِنْ العُمْرِ خَمْس أو سـِـت سَنَوَات ، كَانَوا جَمِيْعاً فِيْ [طَبَقَة إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر]!

كَانَ المُقَاتِل الذِيْ كَانَ لايزَاَلَ فِيْ العِشْرِيِنات مِنْ العُمْرِ قَدْ أصابته الصَدْمَة بَعْدَ أَنْ خَرَجَت عَيْناه مِنْ رَأْسه ، مـَـا هـُــوَ أكثَرَ مِنْ الذِيْ كَانَ ينَظَر إلَيه مُنْذُ حَوَالِي خَمْس أو سـِـت سَنَوَات . حتى لـَــوْ بَدَأت التَدْرِيِب عِنْدَمَا كَانَت لَا تزَاَلَ فِيْ رَحِمِ وَالِدَتِهَا ، كَيْفَ يُمْكِن أَنْ تَصِلَ زِرَاعَتُهَا وَ مسْتَوَي تَدْرِيِبُهَا إلى هَذَا الَمِسْتُوى؟

كَانَ هَذَا غَيْرَ طَبِيِعي ، غَيْرَ طَبِيِعي على الإطْلَاٌق . متى أصْبَحَت [طَبَقَة إزْدِهَارِ الزُهُوُر]” رخيصة جدا؟ فَجْأة ، كَانَ هُنَاْكَ ثَلَاثَة مِنْ المُقَاتِليْن الأقْوَياء ، وعِلَاوَة على ذَلِكَ ، كَانَ إثْنَان مِنْهُم لَا يَزَالَان صَغِيَرَين جداً.

مَاتَ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) تقَرِيِباً مِنْ الغَضَب . وَ قَمَعَ غَضَبه بالقوة : “من أيْنَ أتيت ، حتى لـَــوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ هُنَاْكَ مَائَةُ ألفٍ ، فهُنَاْكَ على الأَقَل ثَمَانُوُنَ ألفٍ شَخْص فِيْ مستواي . وَ هُنَاْكَ مـَـا لَا يقل عَن عَشَرَة أو عِشْرِيِن أَلْفِ شَخْص أقوى مني!”

(لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) إِبْتَسَمَ إبْتِسَامَة عَرِيِضَة ، وَ قَالَ : “الضفدع الذِيْ يَجْلِس فِيْ قاع البئر ، هَل تَعْرِفُ الآن أَنَّه سيَكُوْن هُنَاْكَ دَائِمَاً شَخْص أخَرُ أَفْضَل بِغَضِ النَظَر عَن كَيْفَ تَبْدُو الأشْيَاء مِثَالِيَة؟”

…مَاذَا يُمْكِن أَنْ يَحْدُث أخَرُ؟ كَانَ (هـُــوْ نـِـيُـو) قَصِيِرا جداً ، لِذَا إِذَا هبطت لَكْمَة ، أيْنَ تَعْتَقِد أَنْ قَبضَتِهَا ستضَرْبَ؟

(هـُــوْ نـِـيُـو) اسَقَطَت أَسْنَانهَا فِيْ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان). لَمْ تَسْتَخْدِمَ بَعْدَ سِلَاحهَا الأقوى.

…مَاذَا يُمْكِن أَنْ يَحْدُث أخَرُ؟ كَانَ (هـُــوْ نـِـيُـو) قَصِيِرا جداً ، لِذَا إِذَا هبطت لَكْمَة ، أيْنَ تَعْتَقِد أَنْ قَبضَتِهَا ستضَرْبَ؟

لم يبدُ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) مُنْدَهِشا للغَايَة و سَأَلَ : “هَل أنْتَ أحَدُ التَلَامِيِذ المُتَمَيِزِيِنَ لطَائِفَة السَيْف السـَـمـَـاوِي أم طَائِفَة عنقَاءِ السَحَاب؟”

يَالَهُ مِنْ أمْرٍ غَرِيِب!

“لَا هَذَا ولَا ذاك!” هز (لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) رَأْسه : “لَيْسَ عَلَيْك أَنْ تخمن أصْلِي . جئت فَقَطْ لأقول شيئاً وَاحِداً ، على الفَوْر أوقِف التنَقَيب عَن المنَجْمَ الَقَدِيِم!”

نَادِرا مـَـا شُوهِدَ هَذَا النَوْع مِنْ النَمَط!

“أنـَــا آسف لأنَنِي لَا أسْتَطِيِعُ الامتثال لرغباتكم!” (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) هَزَّ رَأسَهُ أيْضَاً . “أيهَا الشَاْب ، بِغَضِ النَظَر عَن أَيّ حزب أتيت مِنْهُ ، يَجِب بالتَأكِيد لَا تَتَدَخَل فِيْ هَذِهِ المسَأَلَة . هَذِهِ هِيَ نَصِيِحَةٌ مني . إنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ … فَطَرِيْقك الوَحِيِد هـُــوَ المَوْتِ!”

“سَأُوسِعُهُ ضَرْبَاً!” مَعَ وَمِيِضْ ، إخـْـتَـفت شَخْصِيَة (هـُـو نِيُو) مِنْ مرأى الجَمِيْع ، ومَعَ شيوى ، ظَهَرَت أَمَامَ (نـَـا تـشِـي يـَـان) مُبَاشِرَةً ، بقَبَضَاتهَا الصَغِيِرة التى تطلق نَحْوه . لَمْ تَسْتَخْدِمَ قط أَيّ نَوْع مِنْ فُنُوُن الْفِنُوُن القتَالِية . كَانَت تَسْتَخْدِمَ قَبَضَاتهَا فَقَطْ لِلَكْمَة ، رافِعَةً مَخَالِبُهَا للتمزِيِق ، و أَسْنَانهَا لِلْعَض ، كَانَت هَذِهِ التَحَرُكَات الثَلَاثَ البَسِيِطة كَافِيَة لَهَا.

“أوه ، هَل هـُــوَ حقا مُثِيِر للغَايَة؟” ضَحِكَ (لِـيـِـنــــج هـَــانْ) بِصَوْتٍ عال : “ثُمَ أرَيْدُ إِنَّ ألعب أكثَرَ!”
