3. يأمل ممارسو مختلف المنظمات أن تفشل قدرات العدو خلال اختراقاتهم. لكن احتمال اختفاء ملك الإمبراطورية من الأراضي إلى جانب يد الملك اليمنى سيُضعف أقوى دولة إلى حد كبير.

21. استطاع نوح تمييزهما حتى مع بروز ملامحهما من موقعه. كانا مخلوقين عملاقين يشبهان التماسيح، لهما زعانف بدلًا من أرجل. طول كليهما أكثر من سبعين مترًا، ويشعّان بهالة التهديد التي تُميّز كائنات الرتبة السادسة!
22. صرخ نوح في ذهنه عند هذا المشهد: “يجب أن ينقرضوا من سنوات!”
23. المخلوقان هما موساسوريا، ولم يرَ عالم نوح أيّاً منهما لعصورٍ كاملة، مما دفع الخبراء في هذا المجال في النهاية إلى تصنيفهما منقرضين. ومع ذلك، ظهرا عندما هدّدت المحنة موطنهما، وأظهرا للبشر جميعاً أنهما أكثر من حيّين!
24. في تلك اللحظة، أصبح المشهد البعيد فوضويًا. قفز شكلان عملاقان وسقطا في البحر عبر الهالة الحمراء المبهرة التي أحدثتها عاصفة البرق. اختفت الغيوم السوداء مع كل هجوم، لكن صرخات ألمهما ترددت في أرجاء العالم.
