اعتقد الجميع أن شين جياوي كان بالفعل في منتصف الطريق لملكيته لطائر القرمزي.

كان هذا هو الاتفاق بينه وبين الجيل الأول من عائلة الطيور القرمزية.

كان هناك فرق كبير بين مظهر الطائر  القرمزي ومظهر الإنسان. كان لديه زوج من الآذان الصغيرة المدببة التي تذكرها شين يانشياو بالجان في الأفلام. عيناه القرمزية الحمراء أيضًا لم تعكس نوع البراءة التي يجب أن يتمتع بها الطفل. بدلا من ذلك ، لم يكن هناك سوى الغطرسة.

كانت ملامح وجهه مثالية أيضًا لدرجة أنها لم تستطع اكتشاف أي عيوب بها.
