“جلالة الملك إحترس!” صرخت ويندي.
قالت آنا لرولاند “فحصت السيارة لا يوجد شيء خاطئ في عجلة القيادة أو الفرامل هناك سبب واحد فقط لفقدان ميستري موون السيطرة”.
ساد على الفور جلبة كبيرة.
فقد السيارة السيطرة وتوجهت نحو بوابة القلعة.

لقد إندهش من أن السيارة التي لا تحتوي على غاز يمكن أن تفقد السيطرة يا لها من سائق وحشي! ومما أثار ذعر رولاند أن الحشد لم يتشتت، على العكس من ذلك توقفت كل الساحرات أمام السيارة في ثانية طبق جميع الساحرات قدراتهم المختلفة، إستدعت آنا جدار اللهب الأسود وأنشأت لوتس حفرة لفصل رولاند عن الفناء، إستدعت إيفي قفصها السحري وأندريا على وشك إطلاق سهمها الخفيف أمسكت نايتينجل برولاند من ذراعه وهي مستعدة لجره إلى الضباب في أي وقت، في النهاية أوقفت فيليس ولورغار السيارة بالقوة أمسكوا بمصد السيارة ورفعوها عن الأرض ثم نزعت آنا مكعب المكعب السحري مع اللهب الأسود الخاص بها تم إسكات المحرك البخاري على الفور.
شعر فيكتور بتعبه يزول تدريجيًا عندما إستمع لخادمته تثرثر وسأل “ألا تخشين أن يعرف أنك شتمته من وراء ظهره؟”.
“آههههه! أركضوا يا رفاق!” صرخت ميستري موون بشكل هستيري ولا تزال يدها على عجلة القيادة.
“وعليك أيضًا إكمال خمس مجموعات من الواجبات المنزلية قبل العشاء!”.
“أنت غبية!” مشت ليلي عبر الخندق وضربت يدها على مؤخرة رأس ميستري موون صراخها تحول على الفور إلى تذمر.
كانت الساحة مرة أخرى على قيد الحياة مع الضحكات.
فتحت ميستري موون عينيها ويدها على رأسها بدت بريئة تمامًا.
