مرّت أيّام وأنا أعيش بين الشكّ والإيمان.
كلّ صباح كنت أفتح صندوق الذكريات لأتأكّد أن السوار الوردي ما زال هناك.
لكن في بعض الليالي، كنت أجدُه ملفوفًا حول معصمي من جديد، كأنّ يدًا صغيرة وضعته وأنا نائم.
في إحدى الأمسيات، بينما كنت أراجع دروسي على الطاولة، انطفأت الأنوار فجأة. خرجت لأتفقّد القاطع الكهربائي، وعندما عدت، كانت أوراقي مبعثرة، وعلى الصفحة الأخيرة كُتبت بقلمٍ أحمر جملة واحدة:
أمي لم تلاحظ شيئًا. كانت تحاول أن تملأ يومها بالعمل والإنهاك، وأنا أحاول أن أبدو طبيعيًا،
لكن في داخلي شيء بدأ يتغيّر — شعور بأنّ Alisha لم تترك هذا العالم تمامًا.
كأنّ Alisha كانت تحاول أن تُعلّمني شيئًا… شيئًا عن الفقد، عن الغفران، عن كيفيّة أن أعيش وأنا أحملها معي دون أن أفقد نفسي.

في اليوم التالي بعد المدرسة، أخذت السوار في جيبي، وذهبت إلى هناك.
الكوخ كان مهجورًا، رائحته تراب ورطوبة، والنوافذ مغطّاة بالغبار.
لكن عندما دفعت الباب، سمعت الهمس ذاته، خفيفًا كأنّ الريح تنادي باسمي:
كأنّ Alisha كانت تحاول أن تُعلّمني شيئًا… شيئًا عن الفقد، عن الغفران، عن كيفيّة أن أعيش وأنا أحملها معي دون أن أفقد نفسي.

خرجت من الكوخ والسماء تمطر بغزارة، شعرت أن كلّ قطرة تهمس باسمها.
ومن ذلك اليوم بدأت الرسائل تتوالى —
صوتها في الحلم، كلمات على الزجاج المبلّل، رائحة عطرها في الممرّ الخالي.
