استغرق الأمر بعض الوقت حتى يصل التنين إلى ذروته، وبدا نوح قد عاد إلى مكانه فوقه بينما جسد الوحش يمتص العناصر الغذائية.
قام نوح بتقييم ساق التنين الضخمة من الدرجة الرابعة في قمة الطبقة الوسطى التي ظهرت بين يديه، ثم ألقاها على مسار التنين الهارب قبل أن يطير أعلى في الهواء.
هاجم التنين الملعون نوح على الفور بمجرد استعادة قوته، وبدا أن حواسه أصبحت الآن قادرة على تحديد موقعه.
توقف التنين الملعون عندما ظهر ذلك الطعام الجذاب أمامه، وقام بتحليل محيطه بسرعة قبل الاستيلاء على الساق بأنيابه والتراجع إلى تجويفه.
فكر نوح بينما يحلل التجويف.
ثم انتظر نوح.

فكر نوح بينما ينتظر الخطوة التالية للتنين.
في تلك اللحظة هبط نوح على قاع الوادي ودخل إلى التجويف الذي فريسته تأكل منه.
لم يغادر وعيه أبدًا داخل التجويف، ورأى كيف أكل التنين الملعون أجزاء الجسم التي جاءت من مخزونه من جثث التنين وامتص “النفس” الذي يحتويه.
جزء من الساق لم يؤكل بعد ولكن التنين لم يستطع التركيز عليه، وظلت نظراته على الدخيل الصغير الذي يسير ببطء نحوه.
الوحش قد خفض رأسه، وخمّن نوح أنه ربما يستمتع بشعور العودة إلى ذروته بعد وقت لا يعلمه أحد.

فكر نوح بينما يحلل التجويف.
ولكنها عندما أدركت أن هجومه لم يكن له أي تأثير، بدأ بالتراجع، فقد أدرك أن عدوه أقوى منه.
لم يكن عرضه حتى خمسة عشر متراً، بالكاد التنين الملعون يستطيع أن يتناسب بداخله.
بالطبع، بدا نوح يستخدم الحبوب من الدرجة الرابعة.
التنين على وشك الزئير نحوه ولكن شعور مفاجئ بالضعف غلف جسده حيث شكلت أربعة خطوط سوداء مستطيلًا حول جسده.
ثم رفع رأسه فجأة وأطلق شعاعًا رماديًا مصنوعًا من اللهب يستهدف نوح!
شعر التنين الملعون وكأنه على وشك الإغماء بسبب تأثير تعويذة نوح لكنه لم يستطع حتى التحرك قبل أن تطعنه سلسلة من المخالب الحادة في نقاط محددة داخل جسده.

استعاد قوته للتو وحتى وصل إلى قمة المستوى لكنه لم يتمكن من فعل أي شيء ضد الإنسان الذي يسير نحوه.

مات بسرعة، اعتاد نوح على قتل الوحوش من الدرجة الرابعة باستخدام تعويذة المخالب الشبحية أثناء تجاربه، ولم يُسكب حتى قطرة دم واحدة على الأرض حيث قام بتخزين جثته داخل الخاتم الخاصة به.
وهذا ما سمح لنوح بالظهور فجأة أمامه وإلقاء الحبة مباشرة داخل فمه، فذابت الحبة على الفور عندما لامست لعاب التنين، مطلقة العديد من المواد المغذية التي امتصها جسده.
شعر التنين بطفرة من القوة تبدأ من فمه وتملأ جسده، بدأت عضلاته الضامرة في الانتفاخ تحت تأثير حبة نوح، التنين يعود ببطء إلى شكله الأقصى!
