قاعة العرش، التي تضيئها ألسنة اللهب الأرجواني المخيفة، تعج بالهمسات المتوترة من الكائنات المظلمة رفيعة المستوى.

في أعماق غابة سامة، حيث الهواء ينبعث منه رائحة السم والأرض تنبض بالسم، جلس ملك سم الروح متقاطعًا الساقين في غرفة ضبابية، تألقت بشرته الخضراء بلون سام، ولمعت عيناه بذكاء خبيث.
صدى صوت الملك الأسود كأنه ناقوس الموت: “تحدث.”
همس بصوت ينضح بالشر: “لقد فعل ذلك السكير أخيرًا شيئًا مفيدًا، عرش الموت، بدون حراسة؟ القدر يفضلني اليوم.”
