انتشرت النيران في جسد العملاق بأكمله عندما لامسه الدم الأسود. بدا أن تلك النيران قادرة على التأثير على هيئته الضخمة، إذ تحولت التضاريس الصخرية التي صنعتها إلى حمم بركانية سقطت على الأرض.
كذلك، لم تظهر أي نيران لإعادة بناء أجزائه المفقودة. الشيطان المدمر ينزف لأول مرة منذ بداية المعركة، ولم يكن قادرًا على تخفيف إصاباته!
